Adam is widely respected for his expansive knowledge of the world of antiques and appears regularly as a specialist on BBC TV’s Antiques Roadshow. This year Adam is celebrating 25 with the Show. Before joining the programme Adam was antiques consultant for BBC TV’s “Going For a Song” series 1990-1999 presented by Michael Parkinson and later Michael Aspel.

Adam is an Asian art specialist and has been a member of The Oriental Ceramic Society of London for over four decades. Adam joined a leading British auction room at the age of 17 and has an unbroken career of over 44 years in valuation work. Adam works independently and specialises in general valuations (often for sale, inheritance tax or insurance purposes) and has advised on and catalogued many remarkable and valuable collections throughout the UK and Europe.

Adam advises not only private clients, but numerous universities, major civic collections, art galleries and museums.
