Auction House Algarve are recruiting for someone to join our team.
Job Title: Auction Cataloguer/Junior Cataloguer

The successful candidate will have the following attributes + skills:
– Self motivated whilst working as part of a team
– Educational background in Art, History or related fields
– Proficiency in written + spoken English *(requirement)
– A good understanding of the Portuguese language *(requirement)
– Computer knowledge from the user’s perspective (computer / tablet)
– Adaptability to new systems and software
– Reasonable level of fitness as some lifting required

The Job Involves:
– Research.
– Photography including basic image editing.
– Cataloguing of items for auction to include detailed written descriptions, condition reports and estimates.
– Moving items from different areas (storage, photographic area, sale room, etc…)
