– Large Bronze statue after a Bronze figural Torchere originally made by the French Sculptor Charles-Henri-Joseph Cordier, titled ‘Femme Indienne Portant Une Vase Sur Epaule Gauche’. Depicted with draping fabrics, bold jewellery and holding a jug above a shoulder. On a circular base.
Circa late 20th century.
Condition: overall very good – heavy verdigris patina to the base and light patina throughout. One arm of the jug is broken and requires re-attaching.
