– Large Antique Dutch Bombe Armoire with beautiful burr walnut veneers in warm tones. 2 Part Armoire with oak wood structure and drawers, cabinet section with beautifully shaped moulded cornice, on a bombe chest base with three full length drawers and raised on bracket feet. Heavily detailed period metalware.
Circa 18th century.
Condition: Overall very good, faults to veneers and surface splitting in places. Minor loss and wear to edges commensurate to age. Historical Woodworm damage to top – treated Feb. 2024.
