– Antique Continental Dutch bench in solid oak wood with a lift up seat for underseat storage. Back panel carved in relief with a narrative frieze depicting the myth of Saint George and The Dragon.
Perforated carving to the back rail and arms carved into the shape of dragons holding the Knights Templar Shield. Blind fretted Gothic carvings to the base with central carving of Saint George slaying the Dragon.
Circa mid 19th century.
Condition: Overall very good, surface wear.
